Self care
this is something for you and me! I love helping others take care of their bodies.
Shower and other stuff:
Ok so this goes in depth of what i do to have a cute lil pamper and how i feel good in my body when everythings wacky First, i LOVE LOVE LOVE showers and baths, which is funny cuz i used to not- but i found out being clean helps a lot with my mood. I choose similar scents for everything (strawberry. STRAWBERRY SCENTSSS) because A. it enhances every smell you use when you use similar scents and B. having a bunch of scents can result in odd scents when mixed sometimes- totally optional to choose the same scents btw, it's just what i do
Ok full routine for shower: Get in and soak my hair before putting in shampoo and conditioner like you normally do I scrub my hair with a…idk what to call it- hair scrubber? Silicone pokey thing? Idk it helps with dandruff and i use it to scrub out shampoo Then I scrub my legs with a body scrub because it helps skin stay SMOOF Shave my legs and oThEr ArEas iykwim Body wash myself ✨ Get out of da showahh Dry off and put on lotion Baby oil on my legs and arms cuz SMOOF skin Basically then ur done- I put on deo and body spray/perfume and that's it Basically same for bath except i soak for longer XD
- Other things besides pamper shower you can do:
- Trim nails
- Paint nails
- Tidy your room
- Change up your hair or style
- Make your bed
- Craft something cute
- Make a healthy snack or bake something
Working out (lazy people like me edition)
Working out is really beneficial to the body and to the mind. It helps me get out of a funk and makes me feel good :3
For people that have no motivation:
Start small. Little stretches here, lift a few weights or like…a pickle jar. It doesn't have to be difficult. You can also try putting something on a shelf: a toy, your phone, a plushie, anything you can walk around with- and while you use it, walk around your room and clean or walk around the halls of your house. Just get up and move.
I started with doing hand workouts to lose just some chub on my fingers- and that's how I found that it's really easy to work out, it's just a mental thing
.Then when you're good with those, move onto doing small workouts. There's TONS of workouts on youtube that are safe and short- id opt for 20-45 minute ones or rest day ones to start.
Mental health
If you struggle with depression then ima give you a lil life hack. GET OFF UR ASS. No, I'm totally kidding, it's not that easy. But it's also not too difficult.
- Clean your area. Even if it's just your bed or desk. Having a clean space helps.
- Open your blinds, vampire! You need vitamin D, especially in the winter when the sunlight is limited.
- Keep your self care items close- put on some deodorant, use dry shampoo, put on perfume, use some hand sanitizer. Anything to make you feel somewhat clean
- Change your clothes. Preferably something colorful. Color helps your mood.
- Talk to your friends. I'm here if you need!
For social anxiety and anxiety in general
- think about WHY youre stressing. if youre reading this, youre probably way too cool to be stressing. Take a break, fix it if you can, if not then walk away for a while.
- Cold water to the face helps reset your brain. cold baths and showers work even better
- No ones gonna know in public. If you have social anxiety- just remember… everyones a self centered lil prick. Jk, but really- no one pays attention to others. How many times have you looked at someone and thought “wOw they have so much anxiety what a weirdo”? Literally never
- Talk to someone about your stresses and try to have them distract you, if it helps.
